At Jim Pruett's Guns and Ammo, we believe this is the most effective means of ensuring that America's gun owners are safe, proficient, confident and responsible as they exercise their right to keep and bear arms and defend their property or person as necessary. Remember, it is not the gun that kills. It is the gun user. It is imperative that gun owners fully understand their right to bear arms as well as the need to know how to handle gun ownership.
At our Houston gun shop, we teach three (3) types of classes: tactical rifle, defensive handguns, and the concealed handgun license class. Each class is completely different and offered at different times of the day and month.
- Tactical Rifle Classes: This gun class emphasizes a defensive mindset and tactical shooting methods.
- Defensive Handgun Classes: This gun course is a must for anyone that owns a hand gun. Regardless of skill prior to class, gun handling, marksmanship and some tactical skills will be taught.
- Concealed Handgun License: This class offers the 10 hours of required classroom instruction and the shooting proficiency exam necessary for a Texas Concealed Handgun License and certificate.
